A <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Ruth Hotchkiss Millman and Richard M. Bilinian, her <br />husband, and others who own land that abuts upon an existing park located <br />outside the corporate limits of any municipality and which is not a State or <br />Federal park and owns lands adjoining said park, has petitioned this Board <br />requesting this Board to vacate, abandon, discontinue and close the existing <br />park of the County located upon the property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, described as follows, to -wit: <br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 4, Block 6, according <br />to Plat of Lone Palm Park Subdivision, which said plat was filed <br />February 24, 1926, and recorded in Plat Book 1, page 61, pub- <br />lic records of Indian River County, Florida, run South 120 feet, <br />more or less, to Elie Northeast corner of Lot 7 in said Block 6; <br />thence run West along the North line of Lot 7 and Lot 14 in said <br />Block 6 a distance of 250 feet to the Northwest corner of said <br />Lot 14; thence run North 120 feet, more or less, to the South- <br />west corner of Lot 17 in said Block 6; thence run East on the <br />South line of said Lots 17 and 4 a distance of 250 feet to the <br />point of beginning. <br />Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith declare that a public <br />hearing will be held to consider the advisability of vacating, abandoning, dis- <br />continuing and closing the above described existing park which was dedicated <br />as a public park in the original plat of said subdivision and has been used by <br />Indian River County, Florida, as a public park since that time, and consider- <br />ing the advisability of renouncing and disclaiming any right of the County and <br />of the public in and to the land constituting such park. Said public hearing will <br />be held in the offices of said Board in the Indian River County Courthouse, Vero <br />Beach, Florida, on the 6th day of June, 1961, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. ; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all landowners owning lots or <br />parcels of land in said Lone Palm Park Subdivision, Plat Book 1, page 61, of <br />which the park sought to be closed is a part, shall be mailed notice to their <br />last known addresses as disclosed by the last tax assessment roll of said <br />County at least twenty-eight (28) days before said hearing and the proof of <br />
