RESOLUTION 2021- 071 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />ADDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />CITIZEN ADVISORY TASK FORCE TO THE LIST OF <br />COMMITTEES TO BE MONITORED BY THE COUNTY <br />ATTORNEY'S OFFICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION <br />2011-072 AND CHANGING OF COMMITTEE TERM AS SET <br />FORTH IN RESOLUTION 2014-094• <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners ("Board") periodically appoints <br />members to the County committees, boards and councils (collectively "Committee" or <br />"Committees"); <br />WHEREAS, the Board approved Resolution 2011-072 appointing the County <br />Attorney's Office to monitor the Committees; <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to eliminate the uncertainty and to provide clear <br />terms of office going forward; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to add the Community Development Block Grant <br />Citizen Advisory Task Force to the list of committees that are monitored by the County <br />Attorney's Office. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, F LORIDA, THAT: <br />1. COMMITTEE MONITORING. The Community Development Block Grant <br />Citizen Advisory Task Force is added to the list of committees monitored by the County <br />Attorney's Office in accordance with Resolution 2011-072. <br />2. TERM OF OFFICE. The membership of the Community Development <br />Block Grant Citizen Advisory Task Force as set forth in Section 2 of Resolution 2014- <br />094, is amended to clarify that the term of office for each member shall be four years <br />and that there is no term limitation. <br />3. NO OTHER CHANGES. No other changes are made to Community <br />Development Block Grant Citizen Advisory Task Force. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Peter D. 0, Bryan , and <br />the motion was seconded by Commissioner Joseph E. Flescher , and, upon being <br />put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />
