Board of Commissioners SWDD Meeting Minutes - Final <br />B. Solid Waste Disposal District <br />October 5, 2021 <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened as the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. The minutes will be <br />approved at an upcoming Solid Waste Disposal District meeting. <br />15.B.1. 21-0930 Request for General Funds - PACE Project and Other Community Projects <br />FY2021-22 <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners authorize up to <br />$9,000.00 to be donated to various Protocol for Assessing Community <br />Excellence (PACE)/illegal dumping projects for the sole purpose of paying <br />associated landfill fees <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Letter from Health Department <br />There was no discussion regarding this item. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, <br />Commissioner Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />15.B.2. 21-0933 Work Order No. 43 to Kimley-Horn for the Solid Waste Disposal District <br />Annual Financial Reports <br />Recommended Action: Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) staff recommends that its Board <br />approve the following: a) Approve Work Order No. 43 with Kimley-Horn and <br />Associates, Inc. in the amount of $47,200 to provide engineering services <br />related to the SWDD Annual Financial Reports; and, b) Authorize the Chairman <br />to execute the same, as presented <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Work Order No 43 - KHA <br />There was no discussion regarding this item. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Earman, to approve staffs recommendation.
