Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Direct - <br />SUBJECT: Blue Cypress Lake Park <br />Management Agreement - Joneal Middleton <br />DATE: August 14, 1995 <br />For many years, Joe Middleton has operated, managed, and maintained the Blue <br />Cypress Lake Park under a management agreement which Is scheduled to expire <br />this year. Mr. Middleton requests renewal of the agreement. The Parks and <br />Recreation Committee considered the attached new agreement on August 3, <br />1995 and recommended approval. <br />Staff has prepared the attached agreement, updated the County equipment list, <br />and Inserted currently applicable language. Mr. Middleton has furnished a current <br />Insurance certificate. The alternatives presented are as follows: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Approve the attached agreement. <br />Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny approval and consider competitive selection for an entity to <br />manage the park. <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1. <br />04.1 <br />August 22, 1995 <br />
