Tuesday, August 22, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, August 22, 1995, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. <br />Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and John <br />W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of an item to <br />schedule the public hearing on the wheelchair van ordinance. <br />(13.D.) <br />County Attorney Vitunac requested consideration of a request <br />by the City of Sebastian concerning the Sebastian Utility System <br />Bonds. (12.) <br />Chairman Macht requested the addition of a reminder about a <br />public workshop by the Department of Environmental Protection. <br />(13.A.) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />added the above items to the Agenda. <br />Chairman Macht announced there would be no meeting next <br />Tuesday, August 30, 1995, unless there was an emergency need for <br />one. <br />1 <br />August 22, 1995 -rpt` <br />
