RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the amendment of Florida Aircraft Registra- tion Law has had the effect ofleaving with Florida Develop- ment Commission the sum of $5,232.43 to be released by Florida Development Commission to Indian River County, Florida, provided that proper assurance is made that said funds will be used for aviation purposes within said County; and,. WHEREAS, Indian River County, Florida does not own or operate any airport or other aviation facility but there are two cities within Indian River Country, Florida, namely,^Vero' Beach and Sebastian, which do own and operate airports; and WHEREAS, at the request of the Board of County Commis- sioners of Indian River County, Florida, the governing bodies of City of Vero Beach and City of Sebastian adopted resolu- tions requesting that portions of said funds be distributed to said cities for aviation purposes mentioned and specified in said resolutions, a copy of each such resolution being attached hereto and marked "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B", respec- tively, and Indian River Flying Service, Inc., requested that a portion of said funds be distributed to it for aviation pur- poses, to wit: purchase and installation of runway lights; NOW THEREFORE: BIS IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of IndianRiver County, Florida, that Florida Development Commis- siou is respectfully requested to pay and distribute said sum of $5,232.43, which it holds as mentioned above, to Indian River County, in escrow, to be paid by Indian River County in equal shares to City of Vero Beach, City of Sebastian and Indian River Flying Service, Inc., for the aviation purposes mentioned above or in the copies of resolutions attached here- to, as the case may be, provided, however, that no such share shall be paid by Indian River County to any municipal or pri- vate corporation mentioned above until due proof has been made that the contemplated work has been done.
