RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the amendment of Florida Aircraft Registra- <br />tion Law has had the effect ofleaving with Florida Develop- <br />ment Commission the sum of $5,232.43 to be released by <br />Florida Development Commission to Indian River County, <br />Florida, provided that proper assurance is made that said <br />funds will be used for aviation purposes within said County; <br />and,. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County, Florida does not own or <br />operate any airport or other aviation facility but there are <br />two cities within Indian River Country, Florida, namely,^Vero' <br />Beach and Sebastian, which do own and operate airports; and <br />WHEREAS, at the request of the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners of Indian River County, Florida, the governing bodies <br />of City of Vero Beach and City of Sebastian adopted resolu- <br />tions requesting that portions of said funds be distributed <br />to said cities for aviation purposes mentioned and specified <br />in said resolutions, a copy of each such resolution being <br />attached hereto and marked "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B", respec- <br />tively, and Indian River Flying Service, Inc., requested that <br />a portion of said funds be distributed to it for aviation pur- <br />poses, to wit: purchase and installation of runway lights; <br />NOW THEREFORE: <br />BIS IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of IndianRiver County, Florida, that Florida Development Commis- <br />siou is respectfully requested to pay and distribute said sum <br />of $5,232.43, which it holds as mentioned above, to Indian <br />River County, in escrow, to be paid by Indian River County in <br />equal shares to City of Vero Beach, City of Sebastian and <br />Indian River Flying Service, Inc., for the aviation purposes <br />mentioned above or in the copies of resolutions attached here- <br />to, as the case may be, provided, however, that no such share <br />shall be paid by Indian River County to any municipal or pri- <br />vate corporation mentioned above until due proof has been made <br />that the contemplated work has been done. <br />
