<br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that the followUS Resolution be adopted.

<br />WHEREAS, the County Engineer of Indian River County, Florida,
<br />has advised the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, that it is necessary for said Board to acquire a source of.
<br />supply of marl is order that said County's Road and Bridge Depart-
<br />ment will have an adequate supply of marl for its use, and,
<br />WHEREAS, E. M. Hemanes and Frances Hemanes, his wife, have
<br />offered tb sell to Indian River County real property in •Indian River
<br />County, Florida, described as:
<br />The South 348.45 feet of the Nof'th 896.90 feet of the
<br />West 500 feet of the East 828.90 feet of Tract 3,
<br />Section 30, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, accord-
<br />ing to last general plat of lands of Indian River
<br />Farms Company filed in the office of the Clerk of the
<br />Circuit Court of St. Lucie County, Florida, and re-
<br />corded therein in Plat Book 2, page 25.
<br />Together with right of ingress, egress and regress on,
<br />over and across the West 25 feet of the East 828.90
<br />feet of the North 548.45 feet of said Tract, Section,
<br />Township and Range, according to said plat.
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto Indian River County
<br />until all marl located on said land has been excavated
<br />and removed therefrom,
<br />for the sum of $4,000.00, and,
<br />WHEREAS, said Board finds and is of the opinion that the acquisi-
<br />tion of said real property is necessary for the continued operation of
<br />said County's Road and Bridge Department and that the sum of $4,000.00
<br />is a fair price for such real property, NOW, THEREFORE:
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
<br />River County, Florida, that Indian River County, a political subdi-
<br />vision of the State of Florida, do purchase from E. M. Hemanes and
<br />Frances Hemanes, his wife, the -real property in Indian River County,
<br />Florida, described as:
<br />The South 348.45 feet of the North 896.90 feet of the
<br />West 500 feet of the East 828.90 feet of Tract 3,
