Nacctoa;cld, se:condeci by Coneriiss.ioner Mccuclears and unanimausiy carried, <br />that the followint; Resolution be adopted. <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, State Audit Report No. 5558 prepared by The <br />Honorable Bryan Willis, State Auditor, found, among; other <br />things, that the Hoard of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, had overpaid one Ptherine Morrison <br />in the sum of $56.90 for unauthorized travel expenses, and, <br />WHEREAS, on October 10, 1962, The Honorable Ray E. <br />Green, Comptroller of the State of Florida, directed the <br />attorney for the Board of County Commissioners ofIndian <br />River County, Florida, to enforce settlement of said Board's <br />claim against said Katherine Morrison for the amount stated <br />above, and, <br />WHEREAS, said attorney has advised said Board that <br />said Katherine. Morrison has moved away From Indian River <br />County, Florida, leaving no forwarding address, that lie <br />has made dillgent effort to locate said Katherine Morrison, <br />without being able to do so, and that, in his opinion, said <br />claim would be 1001% uncollectible even if the present where- <br />abouts of said Katherine Morrison were determined, NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT R1'SOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, that: said Board finds and <br />dotermines that its claim against Katherine Morrison in the <br />sum of $56.90 for unauthorized travel expenses is uncollect- <br />ible because her whereabouts are unknown and cannot be ascer- <br />tained. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, subject to the approval <br />of the Comptroller of the State. of Florida, said claim be <br />settled as an uncollectible claim and that no further action <br />be takon with respect thereto. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two certified copies of <br />this resolution be sent to the Comptroller of the State of <br />Florida and that his approval thereof be requested. <br />y A <br />
