Julianne Price, R S. <br />21791001 Ave. <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />772-713-6883 CeIV 772-794-7445 Work <br />Julianne.Price@flhealth.gov <br />Education <br />I attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree <br />in Environmental Studies with a Natural Resource Management Focus. I am a graduate of the <br />Center for Disease Control's Environmental Public Health Leadership Institute and have taken <br />master level courses from the University of South Florida. <br />Licenses/certifications <br />I hold certifications from the Florida Department of Health in numerous areas including food <br />service, biomedical waste, and onsite sewage and disposal to include permitting and inspections. I <br />also am accredited as a Registered Sanitarian (R.S.) and am part of the emergency response strike <br />team for FL. <br />Professional Experience <br />I have been employed by the Florida Department of Health in Indian River (DOH -IR) since <br />January 2004, initially as an Environmental Specialist. In July 2020, I assumed the duties of <br />Environmental Health Manager at DOH -IR to lead and supervise the DOH -IR Environmental <br />Health Division. My duties also include supervision over accreditation, community health <br />improvement planning and serving as the Statewide PACE EH Coordinator for the Florida <br />Department of Health since 2006. My early experience as a park ranger assistant in Washington <br />state helped ignite my passion for protecting our environment and safeguarding our communities <br />which collectively has led to over 20 years of experience in the field. <br />Publications and Research <br />I have been involved in securing over $40 million of grants for communities in FL.
