Brown, Courty Administrator <br />Kristin Daniels, Budget Director <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Designation of Excess Equipment as Surplus and Disposal Authorization <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The equipment on the attached list has been determined excess to the needs of Indian River <br />County and requires disposal in accordance with Florida Statutes and Finance Policies. <br />As previously authorized by the Board, the -items identified with "SELL" will be sold by online <br />auction and funds received from the sale of these items will be returned to the appropriate <br />accounts. <br />Items highlighted in orange and identified as "DISCARD" have no resale or scrap value and will <br />be discarded. <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost to the County associated viith this request. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board declare the items on the Excess Equipment List for 110221 Agenda <br />as surplus, and authorize their disposal, as indicated. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Excess List for 110221 <br />63 <br />
