IRC -2002 <br />SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 271h Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, <br />November 17, 2021. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name <br />and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "WHI AVENUE & 8!-H STREET <br />SIGNALIZATION IMPROVEMENTS and Bid No. 2022007". Bids should be addressed to <br />Purchasing Division, Room 131-301, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be <br />opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified <br />above, will not be accepted or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -2002 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2022007 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed improvements to the intersection of 66th Avenue <br />and 8tn Street consist of the signalization of the intersection by installing mast arm <br />assemblies with all other appurtenances. Also included is milling and resurfacing, signing <br />and pavement markings, and sodding. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Detailed specifications <br />are available at: www.demandstar.com or at www.ircgov.com/departments/budget/purchasing <br />under "Current Solicitations". <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including <br />the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of <br />an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or <br />a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State <br />of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount <br />of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event <br />the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish <br />the required 100% Public Construction Bond and certificates of insurance within the timeframe <br />set by the County.
