The preferred stock consists of Series A 8% Cumulative Preferred <br />Stock of a technology company. At December 31, 2020, management recorded a $1,000,000 loss on <br />impairment of the investment. <br />Investments, on the equity method, consist of the following: <br />Investment in Partnerships $ 2,019,820 <br />Investment in Somerset Solar I LLC 5.549.140 <br />$ 7,568,960 <br />Investments in Partnerships - Valued under the equity method. This investment was transferred to the Company by the <br />Energy Affiliate to satisfy an intercompany loan on December 31, 2017. SSI owns, maintains and <br />operates 34 solar photovoltaic energy systems ("energy systems") with a total energy capacity of <br />8,083.53kW.
