SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />18012 rh Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, <br />November 10, 2021. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the <br />name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "6T" AVENUE MILLING & <br />RESURFACING FROM U.S. 1/S.R. 5 TO 21ST STREET and Bid No. 2022008". Bids should <br />be addressed to Purchasing Division, Room B1-301, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida <br />32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 <br />P.M., on the day specified above, will not be accepted or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1638 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2022008 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed improvements consist of milling and resurfacing <br />the existing asphalt pavement, replacing deficient sidewalk panels, filling in sidewalk <br />gaps and upgrading pedestrian crossings to current FDOT standards. This is an F.D.O.T. <br />Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) funded project, FM No. 438074-1-54-01. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Detailed <br />specifications are available at: www.demandstar.com or by selecting "Current Solicitations" at <br />http://www.irc.gov.com/Departments/Budget/Purn.hasing. All communications concerning this <br />bid shall be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasinga_ircgov.com. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely <br />including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in <br />the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a <br />qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent <br />5% of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners.
