Division 1— General Requirements, IRC -2030 <br />SECTION 01340 - SUBMITTAL OF SHOP DRAWINGS <br />1.1 SCOPE <br />A. Submit shop drawings, produ-t data and samples as required by or inferred by the <br />Drawings and Specifications. Submittals shall conform to the requirements of <br />Article 6.17 of the General Conditions, Section 00700, and as described in this <br />Section. <br />1.2 SHOP DRAWINGS <br />A. Shop drawings are original drawings, prepared by the CONTRACTOR, a <br />subcontractor, supplier, or distributor, which illustrate some portion of the work; <br />showing fabrication, layout, setting, or erection details. Shop drawings are further <br />defined in Article 6.17, Section 00700. <br />B. Shop drawings shall be prepared by a qualified detailer and shall be identified by <br />reference to sheet and detail numbers on the Contract Drawings. <br />1.3 PRODUCT DATA <br />A. Product data are manufacturer's standard schematic drawings and <br />manufacturer's catalog sheets, brochures, diagrams, schedules, performance <br />charts, illustrations, and other standard descriptive data. Product data are further <br />defined in Article 6.17, Section 00700. <br />B. Modify standard drawings to delete information which is not applicable to the <br />project and supplement them to provide additional information applicable to the <br />project. <br />C. Clearly mark catalog sheets, brochures, etc., to identify pertinent materials, <br />products, or models. <br />1.4 SAMPLES <br />A. Samples are physical examples to illustrate materials, equipment, orworkmanship <br />and to establish standards by which work is to be evaluated.
