HEALTH <br />Indian River County <br />- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — <br />January 5, 2021 <br />Indian River County Health Department to Move Curative COVID-19 Testing Site <br />to IRC Fairgrounds <br />Vero Beach, FL — To accommodate the influx of traffic and demand for COVID-19 <br />testing, the COVID-19 testing site at Intergenerational Center located at 1590 9th Street <br />(Oslo Road) will be closed tomorrow, January 6th to move to a new site. The Florida <br />Department of Health in Indian River County, in partnership with the Indian River <br />County Board of County Commissioners, will move its Curative COVID-19 drive-thru <br />testing site from the Intergenerational (IG) Recreation Center to the Indian River County <br />Fairgrounds, beginning Friday, January 7, 2022. <br />The drive-thru testing site will continue to operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday <br />through Sunday at the new Fairgrounds site. To prepare for this site change, testing will <br />not be available through Curative on Thursday, January 6, 2022. <br />Those individuals requiring a COVID-19 test must enter the Fairgrounds from the 77th <br />Street entrance and follow the assigned traffic pattern to obtain their test. <br />The tests are no cost to patients and appointments are strongly recommended. Individuals who would like to receive a <br />COVID-19 test should bring a form of identification (driver's license, passport, etc.) and <br />wear a facemask. <br />The Indian River County Fairgrounds is located at 7955 58th Avenue in Vero Beach. <br />0 <br />22 <br />
