� s � <br />water or sewer system hereafter made a part of the System by <br />resolution of the Board of County Commissioners together with any <br />and all improvements, extensions and additions thereto hereafter <br />constructed or acquired. <br />SECTION 3. FINDINGS. It is hereby ascertained, determined <br />and declared that: <br />(A) The County now owns, operates and maintains the System <br />and will continue to derive revenue from the rates, fees, rentals <br />and other charges made and collected for the service of such <br />System. <br />(B) The County deems it necessary and in its best interest of <br />and in furtherance of the health and safety of the citizens and <br />residents of the County and the City to provide for the acquisition <br />of the City System from the City. The acquisition program herein <br />described will be advantageous to the County by allowing it to <br />operate an integrated System within the County in order to better <br />serve the citizens and residents of the County. <br />SECTION 4. AUTHORIZATION OF ACQUISITION OF THE CITY SYSTEM. <br />There is hereby authorized the defeasance of the City Bonds in the <br />manner provided herein and in the Acquisition Agreement; and the <br />acquisition of the City System, in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions of the Acquisition Agreement, is hereby authorized. The <br />execution and delivery of the Acquisition Agreement, in <br />substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby <br />approved and the Chairman, Vice Chairman and County Clerk are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the Acquisition Agreement <br />in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A to indicate <br />the County's acceptance thereof, subject to such changes, <br />insertions or omissions as may be approved by the Chairman, Vice <br />Chairman and County Clerk executing same, and the execution of the <br />23 <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 1995 <br />eooK 96 Ara 23 <br />
