JUN 0 1999 eooK 76 <br />EXHIBIT F <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT COOPERATIVE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />APPLICATION AGENCY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89- 56 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY <br />ADMINISTRATOR AND THE BUDGET DIRECTOR TO <br />ENTER INTO A LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />COOPERATIVE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br />MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT AND JOINT <br />PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature has created a Local <br />Government Cooperative Assistance Program, Chapter 335.20, <br />Florida Statutes; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is a policy of the State ot Florida to <br />construct and make Improvements to the state transportation <br />system In a cooperative partnership; and, <br />WHEREAS, such partnership shall be promoted and <br />encouraged through the joint funding of projects that <br />Improve traffic flow and reduce congestion of the State <br />Highway System; and— <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida wishes to authorize the County <br />Administrator and the Budget Director to make an <br />application(s) for such projects, enter Into a Memorandum of <br />Agreement(s) and, If the proposed projects are selected for <br />funding, enter Into a Joint Participation Agreement with the <br />State of Florida Department of Transportation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of <br />County Comml ssloners of Indian River County, Florida': <br />Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida hereby authorizes the County <br />Administrator and the Budget Director to apply for matching <br />funds under the Local Government Cooperative Assistance <br />Program. <br />Section 2. The Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida hereby authorizes the County <br />Administrator and the Budget Director to enter Into a <br />Memorandum of Agreement with the State of Florida Department <br />of Transportation. <br />Section 3. The Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida hereby authorizes the County <br />Administrator and the Budget Director to enter Into a Joint <br />Participation Agreement with the State of Florida Department <br />of Transportation, If such project(s) are selected for <br />funding. <br />Section 4. The Clerk to the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County is hereby directed to <br />send copies of this RESOLUTION to the Department of <br />Transportation and all other persons as directed by the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Scurlock and seconded by Commissioner <br />Eggert anB—,--being—put to a vote, the vote was as <br />To oTTows: <br />Chairman Gary C.
