Kirwin, Director, Parks and Recreation <br />Subject: License Agreement for IRCSO Deputy to Reside at the County Owned <br />Residents at the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex — 4735 <br />43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, FL <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex (VHSCEC) is located at 4735 43`d <br />Avenue, Vero Beach, Fl. The County owns a residence on the park and desires that an Indian River <br />County Sheriff's Office (IRCSO) Deputy reside in the residence. The previous resident Deputy <br />honorably retired from the IRCSO and with his retirement, terminated his license with the County. <br />The Deputy who volunteered to reside in the property will carry the required liability and personal <br />property insurance levels as detailed in the attached license and cover electric, telephone and cable <br />expenses. The proposed Deputy Tenant has met with several of the community leaders in the <br />Gifford Community and with the leadership of the Gifford Youth Achievement Center with <br />positive results. <br />The term of this License Agreement shall be two (2) years from the date of approval of this License <br />Agreement by the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.
