The Board of County Commissioners approved a 4% or $0.75 per hour (whichever is greater) <br />general wage increase for the Teamsters Union and non-union employees on September 14, <br />2021 and a 4% general wage increase for the IAFF employees on October 5, 2021. Exhibit "A" <br />appropriates funding from the various Reserve for Contingency Funds and Cash Forward -Oct <br />1 St <br />2. On October 7, 2021, the Teamsters Urion and the County agreed to reclass all part-time and <br />budgeted temporary Lifeguard 1 (L02) positions to Lifeguard 1 (L05) positions to help aid in <br />recruitment and retention. This results n an additional cost of $76,875. Exhibit "A" <br />appropriates funding from MSTU/Reserve for Contingency. <br />3. Various promotions, reclassifications and additional positions have been authorized by the <br />County Administrator to respond to the County's needs. Exhibit "A" appropriates funding from <br />the various Reserve for Contingency Funds and Cash Forward -Oct 1St <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that after the public hearing-, the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />budget resolution amending the fiscal year 2021-22 budget. <br />RN <br />
