r� 8/23/89(SPBO2)LEGAL(WGC/bk) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-132 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ACKNOWLEDGING THE APPLICATION <br />FOR PRIVATE SALE OF COUNTY PROPERTY TO <br />THE CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY OF FLORIDA; <br />RECOGNIZING THAT SUCH PROPERTY IS <br />TO BE USED FOR THE PUBLIC PURPOSE OF <br />PROVIDING SHELTER AND COUNSELING TO <br />RUNAWAY CHILDREN; AND SETTING A PRICE <br />FOR THE SALE OF SUCH PROPERTY AT <br />TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />125.38, Florida Statutes, The Children's Home Society of <br />Florida, an organization not -far -profit (hereinafter called <br />HOME), organized for the purposes of promoting community <br />Interest and welfare by providing shelter and counseling to <br />runaway children, has applied to the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida (hereinafter <br />called COUNTY), for a sale and conveyance of real property <br />located at: <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION ATTACHED HERETO AND <br />INCORPORATED HEREIN AS "EXHIBIT A", and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY is satisfied that such property Is <br />required for such use and is not needed for COUNTY purposes, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY has determined that it shall <br />convey the property by private sale to HOME for a <br />consideration of the sum of Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars <br />($25,000.00), conditioned upon HOME's operating a shelter <br />and counseling center for runaway children upon the property <br />within one (1) year and so maintaining such shelter, or else <br />all title, use and interest in the property shall revert to <br />COUNTY, which shall then return Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars <br />to HOME. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />1.
