ASSESSMENT FOR SEWER FORCE MAIN INSTALL- <br />ATION ON THE EAST SIDE OF INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD <br />FROM U.S. III TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT; METHOD Or PAYMENT OF <br />ASSESSMENTS; NUMBER OF ANNUAL iNSTALLMEN`fS, AND <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF AREAS SPECIFICALLY SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has determined that the improvements herein <br />described are necessary to promote the public welfare of <br />the county and has determined to defray the cost thereof by <br />special assessments against the properties specially <br />benefited thereby, all of which improvements are hereinafter <br />referred to as to Project No. US -89 -01 -CCS, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as foliows: <br />1. The County sloes hereby determine that in order to <br />be able to serve lropertles located on the east :and west <br />sides of Indian River Boulevard from U.S. #1 to the City of <br />Vero Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant, a sewage transmission <br />systema shall be Installed on the east sidle of Indian River <br />Boulevard from U.S. #i1 to the City of Vero Beach Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant., and 80% of the cost thereof, and in <br />connection therewith, shall be specially assessed In <br />accordance with the provisions of §11-112 through §11-47 of <br />the Code of Laws and Ordinances of Indian River County. <br />2. The total ost1mated cost of the portion of the <br />above-described improvements to be assessed Is shown to be <br />$339,995.58 (or $.026344 per scivare foot) to be paid by the <br />property specially benefited as shown on the assessment plat <br />on file with the Department of Utility Services. <br />3. A special assessment in the arr,ount of $.0263411 per <br />square foot shall be assessed against each of the properties <br />designated on the assessment plat. <br />4. The special assessments shall be due and payabie <br />and may be paid in full within 90 days after the date of <br />the resolution of the Board with respect to credits; against <br />the special assessments after completion of the improvements <br />(the "Credit Date") without Interest. <br />
