• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67-14 <br />PRIMARY ROADS <br />WI•IEREAS, the State Road Department of Florida is now preparing <br />its budget for the construction of Clio primary road system in the State for the ' <br />fiscal year 1967^68; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, is vitally interested in the improvement of the primary road <br />system in Indian River County; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith respectfully request the <br />State Road Department of Florida to include in its budget for primary roads <br />for the fiscal year 1967^68 the following projects in Indian River County: <br />1. Widen and reconstruct State Road 60 to a four lane highway <br />from the Florida East Coast Railway right of way to the intersection with 1-95 <br />and then two lanes to the West line of Indian River County. <br />2. Reconstruct the existing bridge on State Road 512 approximately <br />1/2 mile"East of the intersection with State Road 510. <br />3. Realign and construct State Road 510 (Wabasso Road) from State <br />Road 5 to the West shore of the Indian River, approximately 1/2 mile. <br />4. Widen and reconstruct State Road 605 (Old Dixie Highway) from <br />State Road 60 to State Road 612 (Glendale Road), approximately 1.5 miles, <br />and eliminate double curve at the intersection of State Road 606 (Oslo Road). <br />5. Reconstruct State Road 60 from Indian River Boul evard to the <br />Atlantic Ocean, approximately 1..5 miles. <br />6. Reconstruction of theEast portion of the Wabasso Bridge from <br />Wabasso Island to the East shore of the Indian River over the Intracoastal <br />Waterway and realignment and reconstruction of State Road 510 (Wabasso <br />Road) from Wabasso Island to State Road AIA, approximately 1.5 miles. <br />7. Widen and reconstruct State Road 507 from the North City <br />Limitwof Fellemere to the North County Line, approximately 3 miles. <br />8. A feasibility Study of the need and location for an additional <br />bridge across the Indian River south of the Merrill P. Barber Bridge on State <br />Road 60. <br />
