Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Final Payment, Release of Retainage and Change Order No. 1 <br />4th Street Culvert Replacement at 90th Avenue (IRC -2022) <br />DATE: February 8, 2022 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On June 15, 2021 Indian River County Commissioners awarded Bid No. 2021045 to Florida Site <br />Contracting in the amount of $334,472.00 for the replacement of the 96 -inch culvert under 4th Street <br />at 90th Avenue. Other work included was sheet piling, temporary canal bypass, earthwork, sodding, <br />maintenance of traffic, and erosion control. <br />Change Order No. 1 makes final adjustments to the contract bid items for a decrease to the total <br />contract price by $50,000.00 and a decrease of $8,190.00 for contract time impacts resulting in a total <br />contract price reduction of $58,190.00 for a final cost of $276,282.00. Florida Site Contracting has <br />signed a settlement agreement acknowledging these terms. <br />Florida Site Contracting has completed the project and has been paid $246,686.50 with <br />$12,983.50 held in retainage to date.
