Prado, Assistant County Attorney <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold — County Attorney <br />DATE: February 14, 2022 <br />ATTORNEY <br />RE: Public Hearing for Amendment to Section 100.03 "Amendment or Repeal <br />of Ordinances" of Chapter 100 "General Provisions" of the Code of Indian <br />River County, Codifying and Publishing the Ordinances to Readopt the <br />Code up to and Including Supplement 141 <br />Section 125.68(1)(a), Florida Statutes requires counties to maintain a current codification <br />of all ordinances and an annual publication of such codification by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />FUNDING: The only cost associated with this item was the cost of publication of the <br />notice of public hearing in the amount of $136.80 which is being paid from the County <br />Attorney's Budget/Legal Ads; Account No. 00110214-034910. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br />Open the public hearing, take public comment, close the public hearing, and adopt the <br />ordinance to codify and publish the ordinances published in The Code of Indian River <br />County up to and including Supplement 141. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Proposed Ordinance <br />84 <br />
