Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final February 8, 2022 <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Change Order No. 1 <br />Settlement Agreement & Pay App 4 <br />Approved staffs recommendation <br />8.E. 22-0109 American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 - Small Business & Non -Profit Grant Program <br />Update <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Board approves no further processing of either Small <br />Business Grant or Non -Profit Grant applications. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Non -Profit & Small Business Grantees <br />Commissioner Moss appealed to the Board to extend the deadline for the County's <br />Non -Profit Grant Program to the end of February in light of four (4) organizations <br />whose approvals were awaiting additional information. <br />Commissioner Adams was in agreement with the extension for existing applicants, <br />but noted that the program was closed to new applicants. <br />County Administrator Jason Brown agreed the request was reasonable for those <br />entities who began the application process prior to the cutoff deadline in 2021. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Moss, seconded by Commissioner Adams, to <br />approve an extension of the deadline to February 28, 2022 for four (4) grant <br />applications which were pending completion. The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Earman, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Flescher, and Commissioner Moss <br />81. 22-0105 Permission to Advertise for Public Hearing for Amendment to Section 100.03(4) of <br />the Indian River County Code, Codifying and Publishing the Ordinances to <br />Readopt the Code as Published by the Municipal Code Corporation <br />Recommended action: Authorize staff to advertise for a public hearing on March 1, 2022 to amend Section <br />100.03(4) of the Indian River County Code <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Approved staffs recommendation <br />8.G. 22-0110 Final Pay to TLC Diversified, Inc for Bid #2019067, Roseland Elevated Storage <br />Tank Water Transmission Main <br />Recommended action: Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the final pay <br />Indian River County Florida Page 4 <br />
