SECTION 03100 - CONCRETE FORMWORK <br />PART 1- GENERAL <br />1.01 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Qualifications of Workmen: <br />1. Provide at least one person who shall be present at all times during execution <br />of this portion of the work and who shall be thoroughly familiar with the type <br />of materials being installed, the referenced standards, and the requirements of <br />this work, and who shall direct all work performed under this Section. <br />B. Codes and Standards: <br />1. Comply with applicable provisions of the latest edition of Building Code that <br />has jurisdiction and Occupational Safety and Health Act. <br />2. Where provision of pertinent codes and standards conflict with the <br />requirements of this Section of these Specifications, the more stringent <br />provisions shall govern. <br />3. Product Standard PS 1-83 for Construction and Industrial Plywood. <br />4. American Concrete Institute Standard recommended practice for concrete <br />formwork, ACI 347 -latest edition. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 FORM MATERIALS <br />A. Form Lumber: <br />1. All form lumber in contact with exposed concrete shall be new except as <br />allowed for under Re -use of Forms in Part 3 of this Section of the <br />Specifications. All form lumber shall be one of the following, a combination <br />thereof, or an equal approved in advance by the Engineer. <br />a. "Ply£orm", Class 15/8" or 3/4" PS 1066, C -D exterior plywood, <br />bearing the label of the Douglas Fir Plywood Association. <br />b. Douglas Fir -Larch, number two grade, seasoned, surfaced four (4) <br />sides. <br />2.02 OTHER MATERIALS <br />03100-1 <br />
