Tuesday, September 19, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 19, <br />1995, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran <br />B. Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; -and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Elinor O'Malley gave the invocation, and Commissioner <br />Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDATMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of item 13.D.5., <br />appointment to Emergency Services District Advisory Committee and <br />item 5.C., a proclamation concerning National Adult Day Care Center <br />Week. <br />Commissioner Tippin requested the addition of item 13.E., St. <br />Lucie County's request for a high speed rail stop. <br />Chairman Macht requested the deletion of item 13.A.2., Orchid <br />Isle Systems (Internet); and addition of item 13.A.3., comment <br />concerning Small Counties Coalition. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added <br />and deleted the above items to the Agenda. <br />r,Ir( VRd <br />September 19, 1995 <br />
