Commissioner Eggert indicated that the Loan Review Committee <br />members are aware of the problems and credited the committee and <br />staff. <br />Chairman Macht asked the default ratio, and Director Keating <br />advised that there were no defaults on this program. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the, Board, unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 95-120 amending the Indian <br />River County Local Housing Assistance Plan, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />RESOLUTION NO 95- 120 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LOCAL <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, on April 5, 1994, the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopted the revised Indian River County Local Housing Assistance <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 29, 1994, the Florida Housing Finance <br />Agency approved the county's revised plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the county's Local Housing Assistance Plan may be <br />amended, as needed, but need not be amended until the plan expires <br />in 1997; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 9, 1995, the Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Committee recommended that the Board amend the Local Housing <br />Assistance Plan to ensure that only applicants who really need <br />assistance receive SHIP funds and then only in the minimum amount <br />necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 28, 1995, the Board of County <br />Commissioners amended the Local Housing Assistance Plan and <br />approved new set of requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, financial institutions participating in the Local <br />Housing Assistance Program identified some minor problems with some <br />of the fiew requirements; and <br />55 <br />September 19, 1995 <br />BOOK 96 PAGE 150 <br />
