Please read <br />pages 1-28, especially pages 7-28.) <br />Indian River County has 194 fishermen with standard saltwater <br />product licences that will be losing (or have lost) their small <br />businesses and jobs. With family members, about 736 persons are <br />directly affected, plus suppliers, wholesalers and retailers. The <br />loss of the fishing industry will have a negative impact of more <br />than $4,653 on the county's economy. <br />Please approve this Guide for signature and transmittal. <br />NOTE: Commissioner Eggert advised that the figure in her <br />above memorandum should be $4 million. <br />TO: James E.
