"lurisdlut:ioat <br />of this Board outside of any anunicipality and not itac:htded in the state hilliway <br />system or state park road system and each is a county road maintained by the <br />county within the meaning of Sect ion 317.2:3;1(2); I" 101-I&i Staatute.s; and, <br />VIII�RlaAS, this hoard, after investigation, has determined that it <br />is reasonable and in conformity to criteria promulgated by the State Road <br />k-partment to alter or change the speed at which motor vehicles may be <br />operated on the raids hereinafter describ(xi; Now, therefore, <br />The. Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, I*lorida4 <br />resolves: <br />1. Pursuant to the authority vested in this hoard, a maximum <br />speed limit for motor vehicles operated in the daytime or nighttime is hereby " <br />set and established in each of the; following zones on each of the following <br />county roads at the maximum miles per hour set fora as to each as follows: <br />(a) Can Walker Avenue frorn King's Highway to 53rd Street, <br />a maximum speed limit of forty-five: (45) miles per hour. <br />(b) On Walker Avenue from 53rd Street to the City Limits <br />of the City of Vero Beach, a maximum speed limit of thirty-five <br />(35) miles per hour, <br />(c) Can Cath Avenue frons 14th Street to 10th Street, a <br />maximum speed limit of thirty-five: (35) milers per hour. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVLD that the Road and Bridge LDe:partme;nt <br />of Indian River County is hereby authorized and directed to so post the said <br />speed zones so as to limit the speed of motor vehicles thereon to the maximum <br />speed established for each zone by this Resolution. <br />$mitta, Heath, Smith & O'Hatre, Attornoyg At tatty, Veto Soach,,Florida <br />
