with the boundaries in the reserve areas. He commented that Fellsmere's development <br />guidelines still seemed to be open, and felt Directors Keating and Jason Brown could <br />work on that. He asked if the group was comfortable with Sebastian's compromise for <br />their extended planning area, where they offered to knock out the traditional <br />neighborhoods, roll everything into the Western Employment Center and get rid of the <br />eastern portion. He also asked if it was a consensus that there was concern that "New <br />Towns" are a little more than they want out in the rural area. It seemed to him there was <br />some consensus, and thought perhaps there should be some restrictions on the number of <br />New Towns, and limits on height and proximity. <br />Mayor White informed the group that he had consulted with Attorney <br />Vitunac, and the City of Vero Beach would be willing to host the meeting in August for <br />all staff to get together and go over everything, including the suggestions that were made <br />today. Thereafter, they would get together again for another joint meeting. <br />Mayor Coy offered that the City of Sebastian could again host the next <br />joint meeting, and inquired if 60 days would be sufficient. There was consensus to <br />have the next joint meeting within 60 days at the Sebastian City Council Chambers. <br />8.
