on a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by commisslion- <br />ex Bogosiiih, the following Resolution was .unanimously adopted: <br />j RELSOL.[ITION NO. 68- g <br />1 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />i <br />Florida, resolves: <br />1. That the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State <br />of Florida have: heretofore conveyed to Indian River County, Florida, a parcel <br />i€ <br />of land in said county which has since been designated as Kiwanis - Hobart <br />Park, to be used, maintained and developed by this Board as a public park. A <br />portion of said lands, situated in the Northwest section of the park located in <br />Indian River County, Florida, described as follows, to -wit: <br />The Southeast quarter, less the Southeast quarter of the <br />Southeast quarter, of Section 32, Township 31 South, <br />Range 39 i:ast; <br />has been designated in the plan of development for a golf course but other <br />areas of the park are planned for development prior to the area of the park <br />above described so that the contemplated development of that area for a golf <br />course necessarily remains to be accomplished at a future date which cannot <br />now be: determined. <br />2. That the part of Kiwanis - tiobart Park described above is here- <br />with designated pending ultimate development in accordance with the compre- <br />hensivcw plan its a nature center to be posted to prevent hunting, with nature <br />trails and observation areas unifier they supervision and control of the 171orida <br />Audubon Society, acting through its Pelican Island Chapter, with full power <br />and autnority to go upon said lands, erect signs so designating the same;, <br />construct nature trails and observation areas and to generally create a nature <br />center for the use and benefit of the general public to continue until other con- <br />templated or required uses shall dictate the termination when signified by <br />resolution of this Board. <br />3. That a certified copy of this resolution be furnished to the <br />Florida Audubon Society and its local chapter, the Pelican Island Chapter. <br />Smith, Heath, Smith & O'Haire, Attorneys At Law, Vero Beach.
