General Election held on November 3, 1959, in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Chapter 59-486, Laws of Florida of 1959, which said levy <br /> shall be used as a maintenance fund for the purposes authorized and <br /> prescribed in the Act creating said District; namely Section 15, Chapter <br /> 7976, Laws of Florida, as amended by Chapter 12259, of the Laws of <br /> Florida. <br /> 3. Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of the <br /> CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, and a certified <br /> W <br /> copy of the Resolution filed with this Board, as required by law and <br /> an estimated by said Board of Commissioners, it is determined and hereby <br /> declared that a tax rate of Forty-one Hundredths (.41)mill .upon the <br /> dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and impoued and assessed for the <br /> year 1968, on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying <br /> and being within the boundaries of the Central and Southern Florida <br /> Flood Control District, the boundaries of said District being described <br /> as including all of the County of Indian River. <br /> 4. Estimates having been made by the BOARD OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION <br /> of Indian River County, Florida, and a certified copy of the Resolution <br /> filed with the Board as required by law and an estimated by said Board <br /> of Public Instruction, it in determined and hereby declared that a tax <br /> rate of six and six tenths (6.6) mill upon the--- - ------ ----- -- - ---- <br /> dollar be levied, and is hereby imposed on all property in the County <br /> of Indian River, the name being five and seven hundred thirty-one thousandth) <br /> (5.731) mills to meet current expenses incidental and necessary for the <br /> eight hundred sixty-nine <br /> operation of Public Schools of the County, and thousandths (.869)of a <br /> mill for reserves for County Buildings and Banes. • <br /> 5. Estimates having been made by the Board of Public Instruction <br /> for TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 and a certified copy of said Resolution <br /> having been filed with this Board as required by law, and as estimated <br /> by said Board, being the rate of millage voted, it is determined and <br /> hereby declared that a tax rate of three and four tenths (3.4)mills <br /> upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for the year. <br /> 1968 on all property taxable for such purpose as provided by law in said <br /> 4 <br /> District comprising all of Indian River County, for the exclusive utae of public <br /> free school() within the district, i� <br />
