Brown, County Administrator <br />Kristin Daniels, Budget Director <br />FROM: Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />SUBJECT: Designation of Excess Equipment as Surplus and Disposal Authorization <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The equipment on the attached list has been determined excess to the needs of Indian River <br />County and requires disposal in accordance with Florida Statutes and Finance Policies. As <br />previously authorized by the Board, the suitable items will be sold by online auction and funds <br />received from the sale of these items will be returned to the appropriate accounts. Items not <br />suitable for sale will be sold for scrap or discarded. <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost to the County associated with this request. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends the Board approve the items on the Excess List for 040522 as surplus, and <br />authorize their disposal. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Excess List for 040522 <br />65 <br />
