Serle: 0.5' - l?' <br />F <br />CRAB EMSk <br />The Crab House abuts the wall of the Fish Nouse, to the <br />east, <br />but no opening exists between them. A ce. 1945 Photograph <br />shows that the gabled roofs of the two building were continuous <br />(Phot. s). This is no longer trove, as esult o1 the fire in <br />1919 that destroyed the Fish House. The Crab Nwse;ls 10' by <br />10'. The floor is concrete, the walls ar wood, and the roof is <br />galvarixed aetal (Photo 9). The South elevation opens onto the <br />dock with four doors, three of which can be tightly sealed <br />became they a cold storage ar one windows z 1.. on this <br />wall. There wa originally more. Two windows a o the west <br />,all (Photo 10)Z8 The north wall has o eaeining window, but <br />two bearded -up winds.. testify to a earlier configuration (Photo <br />11). The teeth exterior wall is vertical board and batten. The <br />other walls are horizontal siding. <br />The interior of this structure was originally divided into <br />els roughly equal Spaces, with two north -south partitions, and <br />east -wast partition.
