On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey, the following Resolution was unanimously <br />ladopted: <br />® M I RESOLUTION 70-12 <br />40 WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 69-241, Laws of Florida, the <br />County Commissioners are directed to call an election at which the elec- <br />tors who are owners of freeholds or personal property within the county <br />who are not wholly exempt from taxation may approve ad valorem tax <br />millage as authorized by Article VII, Section 9, Florida Constitution; and <br />ii WHEREAS, the Indian River County School Board has heretofore <br />it adopted a resolution calling for said election, requesting that it be held on <br />i <br />Tuesday, May 26, 1970. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />!' Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that this Board does hereby <br />ratify and approve May 26, 1970 as the date for the holding of said special <br />iimillage election by the Indian River County School Board and directs the <br />Supervisor of Elections to make the registration books available for said <br />election pursuant to law. I <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board does herewith <br />determine the number of inspection boards for each precinct and does <br />hereby appoint the personnel of the inspection boards as shall be determined <br />and appointed by the Indian River County School Board pursuant to resolu- <br />tion for the special millage election to be held on Tuesday, May 26, 1970. <br />There being no further business, on Motion made, seconded and <br />C: <br />arried, the Board then adjourned at 4:20 o'clock P.
