on Motion of commissioner Massey, second of commissioner Loy, <br />the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 70-53 <br />WHEREAS, by resolution heretofore adopted October 3, 1944, the <br />North 60 feet of Tract "B", Block 1, Lots 1 to 13, both inclusive, Block 13, <br />and Lots 28 - 34, both inclusive, Block 13, of VEROMAR SUBDIVISION, accord- <br />ing to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 88 in the Office of the Clerk <br />of the Circuit Court of Indian River County, Florida, were dedicated for a <br />public yacht basin and park, and <br />WHEREAS, by resolution heretofore adopted May 4, 1954, the above <br />resolution was revoked as to the North 60 feet of Tract "B", Block 1, VEROMAR <br />SUBDIVISION, and <br />WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Vero Beach, Florida, in <br />which the above described property lies has made a request to utilize said <br />property for a marina, yacht basin and kindred purposes, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, does hereby revoke its dedication of Lots 1 to 13, <br />both inclusive, Lots 28 - 34, both inclusive, Block 13, of VEROMAR SUB- <br />DIVISION, Plat Book 1, Page 88, for public use and does grant permission <br />to the City of Vero Beach to utilize these lots for a marina, yacht basin and <br />kindred purposes for as long as it best serves the best interests of the City <br />of Vero Beach and Indian River County. <br />
