on Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of commissioner Massey, <br />the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />® RESOLUTION 71-7 <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners has <br />• through local gifts, public funds and through agreements with the <br />Florida Outdoor Recreation Council has acquired 489± acres in what <br />is now known as Kiwanis-Hobart Park, and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners with <br />the assistance of Mr. Edward Hobart and the Kiwanis Club of Vero <br />Beach has expended funds for development of a portion of this park, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners recog- <br />nize the need to further develop another portion of this park in <br />keeping with a general development plan for the entire park, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners <br />does hereby endorse the further development of this park in the total <br />amount of fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars in accordance with the terms <br />of the attached agreement. <br />Chairman, Indian FFiver County <br />Board of Commissioners <br />ATTEST: <br />Gl'erkCiCourt <br />Done in Special Session this 10th day of February 1971 at <br />Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida. <br />s <br />
