RESOLUTION NO. 72_9 <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Administration has proposed <br />establishment of a single set of uniform substate district boundaries, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, legislation is currently being drafted entitled <br />"Florida Comprehensive State and Regional Planning Act of 1972", <br />which legislation proposes state planning districts, and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed that Indian River County be included <br />in a region other than Region 7, the region its economy and interests <br />are more similar to than those counties in which it has been tentatively <br />placed, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that Indian River County <br />be grouped with those counties in the proposed Region 7 and that a <br />copy of this Resolution be sent to the Department of Administration. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />
