Division 1— General Requirements, IRC -1639 <br />1.5 PROJECT PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEOS <br />A. The CONTRACTOR shall make provisions, at his expense, for photographs and video tapes of <br />all work areas just prior to construction, and for unusual conditions during construction. The <br />photographs and videos shall show pertinent physical features along the line of construction. <br />The purpose of the videos is to determine any damage to private or public property during <br />construction. The video must be performed by a professional videographer. <br />B. Pre -Construction Photographs and Video: <br />1. Contractor shall provide the Owner with photographs and video record and one copy of <br />the existing conditions prior to construction. These photographs and videos shall be a <br />standard DVD format and shall be narrated. <br />2. The photographs and video shall include, but not be limited to, the following items <br />shown in a clear manner: <br />1) All existing features within the right-of-way. <br />2) All existing features within the temporary construction easement. <br />3) All existing features within permanent easements. <br />4) All existing features adjacent to any construction. <br />3. Detail of the photographs and video shall be such that the following examples shall be <br />clear and visible: <br />1) Cracks in walls. <br />2) Condition of fencing. <br />3) Condition of planted areas and types of vegetation. <br />4) Condition of sodded areas. <br />5) Conditions of sprinkler systems and associated controls and wiring. <br />6) Condition of signs. <br />7) Conditions of lighting and associated wiring. <br />8) Significant detail of any pre-existing damages physical features shall be <br />shown. The coverage of the photographs and video should include the <br />limits of effects of the use of vibratory rollers. <br />9) These photographs and video record shall be presented and approved by <br />the Owner prior to the Notice to Proceed.
