Division 1—General Requirements, IRC -1639 <br />B. TEMPORARY SANITARY FACILITIES <br />1. Provide temporary toilet facilities separate from the job office. Maintain <br />these during the entire period of construction under this Contract for the <br />use of all construction personnel on the job. Provide enough chemical <br />toilets to conveniently serve the needs of all personnel. Properly seclude <br />toilet facilities from public observation. <br />2. Chemical toilets and their maintenance shall meet the requirements of <br />State and local health regulations and ordinances. Immediately correct <br />any facilities or maintenance methods failing to meet these requirements. <br />Upon completion of work, remove the facilities from the premises. <br />1.4 SECURITY <br />Full time watchmen will not be specifically required as a part of the Contract, but the <br />CONTRACTOR shall provide inspection of work area daily and shall take whatever <br />measures are necessary to protect the safety of the public, workmen, and materials, and <br />provide for the security of the site, both day and night. <br />1.5 TEMPORARY CONTROLS <br />Take all necessary precautions to control dust and mud associated with the work of this <br />Contract. In dry weather, spray dusty areas daily with water in order to control dust. Take <br />necessary steps to prevent the tracking of mud onto adjacent streets and highways. <br />1.6 REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FACILITIES <br />Remove the various temporary facilities, services, and controls and legally dispose of <br />them as soon as the work is complete.
