Cl <br />E-1 <br />R E S O L U T I O N No. 73-8 <br />WHEREAS, the Legislat©rs of the State of Florida <br />have recently adopted a new State Uniform Traffic Control <br />Law which establishes county speed zones, and <br />WHEREAS, some posted speed limitations in Indian <br />River County are in conflict with the new State Uniform <br />Traffic Control Law, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, desires that the traffic control laws <br />of Indian River County be in conformity with the State <br />Uniform Traffic Control Law, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />that henceforth speed limits on all roads in the unincorporated <br />areas of Indian River County, Florida, are hereby established <br />and will be posted in conformity with Chapter 316, Florida <br />Statutes, 1972 and any Amendments thereto. <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />Clerk <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />J � % <br />Byjc <br />Alma Lee Loy, Chairman <br />-11- <br />
