RESOLUTION NO. 7t4O <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING JACK G. JENNINGS OF THE <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER, STATE OF FLORIDA, TO MAKE APPLICATION f <br />FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE UNDER PUBLIC LAW 92-500 CONSTRUCTION <br />if <br />GRANTS PROGRAM. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County, Florida proposed to construct a <br />regional sewerage system in the eastern half of the County for <br />i <br />abatement of pollution; and <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and advisable to seek federal <br />assistance and/or state assistance for such construction; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE County Commission of Indian <br />River County, Florida: <br />I <br />1) That Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator, be and he is <br />hereby authorized to execute and file an application on <br />behalf of Indian River County with the Environmental Protect <br />�I ion Agency for assistance under Public Law 92-500 sewage <br />construction grants for the construction of a regional <br />i <br />sewerage system in the eastern half of the County. <br />I <br />2) That Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information <br />as the Environmental Protection Agency may reasonably request; <br />in connection with the application which is herein authorized <br />to be filed. <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />-29- <br />
