RESOLUTION NO.3-00 <br />.WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of Indian River County, Flor- <br />ida, did, after public hearing, make its final report recommend- <br />ing changes and additions to the 'boning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did publish its notice of said recommended <br />changes and additions and did, pursuant thereto, hold a public hear- <br />ing in relation thereto at which parties in interest and citizens <br />were heard: Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be changed as <br />follows: ' <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the following <br />4described property owned by John C. Palmer, situated in Indian River. <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />The North 232.5 feet of the South 390 feet of Government <br />Lot 1, Section 8, Township 31 -South, Range 39 -East, lying <br />West of Old U. S. Highway No. l; said land lying and being <br />in Indian River County, Florida; <br />ALSO <br />That part of the following described property lying East of <br />the right-of-way of the new U. S. Highway No. 1, being part <br />of said parcel.: That part of the followi.ng described land <br />lying East of the Floxi_da East Coast Railway right of way; <br />Beginning 990 feet south of the NE corner of the SE 1/9 of <br />the NE 1/9 (or Governrient- Lot: 9) of Section 7, Township 31 - <br />South, Range 39 -East, running 330 feet south to the south <br />line, West 1320 feet to West line, North 330 feet, East 1.320 <br />feet -to the East line to beginning, containing 3.75 acres, <br />more or less; situated in Indian River County. <br />Be changed from C-1 Commercial District to R-2 Multiple Fam- <br />ily District. <br />All within the meaning and intent and as set forth and described <br />in said Zoning Regulation. <br />- 43 - <br />
