RESOLUTION NO.2_�3 <br />WHEREAS, American Legion l vlix 11oppc4l. Post M39 <br />has sponsored an American legion baseball team; and <br />WHEREAS, said team has represented Indian River <br />County, Florida, with distinction by winning the 1973 State <br />Championship; and <br />WHEREAS, this Board desires to recognize this <br />achievement and the long hours of hard work by both the play- <br />ers, coaches and parents that were required to make a win- <br />ning team, <br />NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County that this Board <br />congratulates the Felix Poppell Post #39; the outstanding <br />young men who contributed their playing talents; Lowell <br />Lohman and Paul Hamilton, the Coaches, whose managerial <br />skills took the team to the Championship; Ed Lohman, the <br />Post representative; and the parents of the boys whose sup- <br />port, encouragement and enthusiasium made the team a <br />success. <br />On Behalf of all the citizens of Indian River Comity, <br />Florida, we salute you; The 1973 State American Legion <br />Baseball Champions. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY., FLORIDA. <br />B ii !
