O'Brien - Assistant <br />County AttorneyQ <br />DATE: November 2, 1995 <br />9 <br />SUBJECT: ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH IN 'THE CODE A 8% <br />FRANCHISE FEE <br />The proposed ordinance places in the code existing levies on electrical <br />energy sales in the County. <br />Recommendation: Staff has reviewed the ordinance and requests <br />permission to advertise it for a public hearing to be held on November <br />28, 1995. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously scheduled <br />a public hearing for November 281, 1995, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINING REGULATION CHANGES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/3/95: <br />TO: James E. At the end of that workshop, <br />Board members indicated that, overall, the county's current mining <br />regulations are adequate.
