RESOLUTION NO. 2022- 031 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN'S EXECUTION OF SMALL COUNTY OUTREACH PROGRAM (SCOP) <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION (MILLING AND RESURFACING) AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION (CEI) <br />SERVICES FOR 6TH AVENUE FROM SR-5/US-1 TO 21ST STREET. <br />WHEREAS, the milling and resurfacing of 6th Avenue from SR5/US-1 to 21St Street is an Indian <br />River County priority project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is prepared to provide funds to <br />pay a portion of the cost for the construction (milling and resurfacing) and CEI of 6th Avenue from <br />SR5/US-1 to 211t Street, as well as minor drainage improvements and pavement markings under the <br />Small County Outreach Program (SCOP); and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, has requested Indian River <br />County execute and deliver to the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, SCOP Supplemental <br />Agreement No. 1 increasing the amount of the grant by $400,000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to make, execute, and <br />deliver to the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, a Small County Outreach Program <br />Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for the aforementioned project. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Flescher who moved its adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Peter D.
