HARRISON, ha:i s"I nutted his resignation <br />from the Indian River County Zoning Commission, and <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, he has served'villi dia iio-;Aun on said Board since 1968, <br />WHEREAS, during his service on said Board his common sense, <br />logic and persuasiveness greatly aided the Board in completing the re- <br />drafting of a new zoning ordinance for Indian River County, new zoning <br />for Highway 60 which will preserve the beauty of the western approach to <br />Vero Beach, the preparation of a comprehensive plan for Indian River <br />County, and expeditious handling of many controversial rezoning matters, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to publicly <br />acknowledge his dedicated service; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, that it regretfully accepts the <br />resignation of LLOYD B. HARRISON from the Indian River County Zoning <br />Commission; that on behalf of all citizens of Indian River County, it thanks <br />him for his outstanding service and his efforts to preserve and to improve <br />the quality of life in Indian River County through zoning. His devotion to <br />duty, sensitivity to public service and excellence in performance has <br />indeed set an example for future members of the Board.
