• <br />• <br />-L—) <br />RECREATION AGREEMENT <br />22nd DAY OF May , 1974 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, desire to provide a supervised recreation <br />program to the residents in Indian River County, Florida, living <br />outside the City of Vero Beach, Florida, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida, has a re- <br />creation program and has agreed to jointly participate with <br />this Board and offer certain recreation programs to all citizens in <br />the County, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual agreements <br />contained herein, Indian River County, Florida, through the <br />Board of County Commissioners and the City of Vero Beach, Florida, <br />through the City Council do agree as follows: <br />1. County and City agree to jointly finance a <br />recreation program open to all residents in the County. <br />2. All programs jointly financed must be approved by <br />both parties. <br />3. Fees for City and County residents will be equal <br />for those programs that are jointly financed. <br />4. All fees collected from residents living outside the <br />City will be accumulated in a Capital Outlay Account. <br />Semi-annual reports on the status of this account <br />will be given by the City to the County. Capital <br />Outlay Funds from fees of out -of -city residents may <br />be spent by the City only with the approval of the <br />County. <br />5. Contributions for approved joint programs shall be <br />on an equal basis and must be approved by resolution <br />of each party. <br />
