AMENDED RESOLUTION NO. 74 - 14 <br />® WHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively ascertaining <br />the proposed fiscal policies of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />® Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year commencing on the <br />1st day of October, 1973, and ending on the 30th day of September, <br />1974, did prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for the <br />ensuring fiscal year for each of the funds therein as provided by law, <br />including IL11 estimated receipts, taxes to be levied and balances <br />expected to be brought forward and all estimated expenditures, reserves, <br />and balances to be carried over at the end of the year, and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the tentative budgets and the com- <br />pletion of revisions made by the Board, the Board did prepare a <br />statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets. The summary <br />statement did show for each budget and for the total of all budgets <br />proposed tax millages, the balances, the reserves, and the total of <br />each major classification of receipts and expenditures classified <br />according to the classification of accounts prescribed by the appro- <br />priate state agencies. This Board did cause said summary statement <br />to be advertised one time in a newspaper of general circulation <br />published in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: in the issue of <br />February 17, 1974, of the Vero Beach Press -Journal as will more fully <br />appear by Proof of Publication thereof filed in the Minutes of the <br />Board, and <br />WHEREAS, said Board did meet at the time and place stated <br />in said advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints <br />from the public regarding the proposed budgets and for the purpose of <br />holding a public hearing and making whatever revisions in the budget <br />it did deem necessary and all of the same having been now completed, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the said Board does intend to budget an increased <br />amount of ad valorem tax revenue, exclusive of revenue from ad valorem <br />taxation on properties appearing for the first time on the assessment <br />roll, and <br />
